The Fender Japan ST60-90 (circa 1990–1995) is a high-end '62 reissue Stratocaster featuring a lightweight alder body, maple neck with a rosewood slab board, and USA-made vintage pickups. Known for excellent build quality, it features vintage specs like a 7.25" radius, 21 vintage frets, and vintage correct 3-way switching
- Body: Alder finished in thin nitrocellulose.
- Neck: Maple with a 1962-style slim "C" profile.
- Fretboard: Rosewood slab board (25.5" scale, 7.25" radius).
- Nut: 42mm (approx. 1.650”) synthetic bone or bone.
- Pickups: Fender USA 57/62 pickups (same as USA reissue models)
- Bridge: Vintage-style 6-saddle tremolo steel block
- Tuners: Gotoh Vintage-style.
- Electronics: CTS pots and standard vintage-correct 3-way
